ETHICS AND POLICIES
I. Gulf G.H.O.S.T. Member Ethics
A. Members of Gulf G.H.O.S.T. are expected to conduct themselves in a courteous, professional and adult manner at all group functions.
B. Gulf G.H.O.S.T. will not condone the following behavior at any group function:
1. Lewd or vulgar behavior
2. Use of alcohol or illegal drugs
3. Intentional disregard for any guidelines set forth by a client or the group
4. Abuse, misuse or intentional damaging of a client or locations property
5. Abuse, misuse or intentional damaging an individuals or group equipment
6. Trespassing in areas or locations not approved for investigation
C. If at any time there is a conflict between team members, they are to attempt to resolve the issue in an adult manner. If needed, they are to bring the issue to the attention of the group, so a resolution can be reached.
D. For safety, members will work in groups while investigating, and keep in radio communication with each other.
E. If for any safety reason a member feels the need to leave an area they are investigating, they will do so as orderly as possible, as to not alarm the client or disturb the other investigation groups. If the reason requires immediate attention, the member will contact the group immediately in a mannerly fashion.
II. Confidentiality Guidelines
A. Client & Location Information
1. For the privacy of our clients, all specific location information will be kept confidential, unless Gulf G.H.O.S.T. has received signed written consent from the client to disclose any specific information regarding the location.
2. If Gulf G.H.O.S.T. does not have signed written consent from the client to disclose any specific information, the location will be referred to as follows in all discussion and / or publications:
a. Private Residence, City, State
b. Business Location, City, State
c. Historic Location, City, State
3. Prior to an investigation, members will not discuss specific dates or location information with anyone not affiliated with Gulf G.H.O.S.T.
B. Group Information
1. Members will not discuss group plans regarding investigations, events or equipment with anyone not affiliated with Gulf G.H.O.S.T., until the group has consented to release such information.
III. Gulf G.H.O.S.T. Group & Member Rights
A. All investigation conclusions will be based on captured evidence.
B. Experiences can be used to draw conclusions on investigations, but will be listed as “Experiences” unless they can be verified by evidence captured on equipment.
C. The group determines conclusions on each case after reviewing all potential evidence and discussing.
D. The client will be given a copy of the groups’ conclusions regarding the investigation, and copies of all potential evidence captured.
E. Usage rights of original & enhanced potential evidence on equipment owned by the group.
1. Every member contributing to the purchase and / or development of the equipment the potential evidence was captured on has the right of usage at any time, regardless of whether or not they are affiliated with Gulf G.H.O.S.T.
2. Gulf G.H.O.S.T. retains the right to continue use of any potential evidence, regardless of whether or not an original equipment contributor is affiliated with the group.
3. All parties continuing to use potential evidence are asked to present it as Gulf G.H.O.S.T. originally concluded it and list it as, “Captured while in Gulf G.H.O.S.T.”
F. Usage rights of original & enhanced potential evidence on equipment owned by an individual.
1. The individual owning the equipment the potential evidence was captured on has the right of usage at any time, regardless of whether or not they are affiliated with Gulf G.H.O.S.T.
2. Gulf G.H.O.S.T. retains the right to continue use of any potential evidence, regardless of whether or not the individual who originally captured it is affiliated with the group.
3. All parties continuing to use potential evidence are asked to present it as Gulf G.H.O.S.T. originally concluded it and list it as, “Captured by INDIVIDUAL while in Gulf G.H.O.S.T.”
G. If requested by the client, Gulf G.H.O.S.T. can perform a “Cleansing” or refer the client to a religious or spiritual individual or organization. It is important that the client understands that any spiritual ceremony performed is only to encourage or help the spirit to pass on. There is no guarantee that a spiritual ceremony will help, and in cases, can make activity increase.
H. Gulf G.H.O.S.T. reserves the right to use member images, supplied information and investigation accounts from media and publicity purposes, such as, but not limited to web sites, flyers, brochures and broadcasting mediums.
